It's almost Christmas Eve here.
My home is decorated with a little tree, a little Nativity Scene and lots of lights and Christmas decorations. The radio is playing Christmas Carols and songs. We've dipped into the yummiest Fruit Cake ever. Yes, we have the trimmings of the season.
Made for TV movies tell us that Christmas is about Santa Claus and if Santa doesn't exist, then gone is the magic of Christmas! Christmas is more than turkey or lamb roasting in the oven, or chestnuts on an open fire. At this time every year, I am always amazed at the lack of the 'Christ' in 'Christmas'.
The birth of the biblical Christ was foretold as an epic event that would change the course of the history of the world. His birth symbolized hope for mankind. Once born a shepherd who became the great King David, in the lifetime of Jesus of the House of David, he was 'a shepherd of men'.
A high adept, Jesus, came to show us what was possible by his life. Jesus showed us that we too, could become sons and daughters of God, by putting on the 'mind of Christ'.
Whether we realize it or not, we are all on our paths to Christhood, to win our Ascension, and to become one with our I AM Presence, our Father in Heaven so that we too can say "I and my Father are One."
Let us take this opportunity to acknowledge how far we have come. Take a moment to be thankful that we are here, frontrunners of this new age. Yes, let's be joyful for everything which has led us to this moment.
I salute the Christ within you and wish you Happy Christ Day, my beloved friends ...... And Have a Very Merry Christmas!
Oh, yes, and Beloved Ascended Master Jesus, I wish you a Happy, Happy Birthday.
